Just a quick update...

Your second poem explication is due, as I have said before, this Friday, the 14th of March. We will be in the writing lab Thursday (rm 205). This time is likely to be the last time you have with me before you hand in the explication, so coming with questions/idea/worries is a good idea.

I'm making my way through your Bio's and Explication #1. I hope to get those back to you sooner rather than later.

The Vocab Quiz for Unit 10 will be on Monday, the 17th. Flashcards will be due.

We're in the computer lab today (and tomorrow), working on your explications of your first poem.

These (first drafts) are due Friday the 7th.

Next Friday (the 14th) the explication of your second poem is due.

Also, we'll be done with Vocab Unit 10 in the none-to-distant future. As such, I thought I might pass on this useful nugget for those of you that hate making flashcards- maybe it helps?

A start's a start.

Hey all.

This is the first entry in a blog I'll be maintaining for class. I'll post homework, due dates, resources, videos, and whatever other interesting and useful stuff I find in my wandering around the interweb.

The quick run-down for the week:

Monday March 3rd: Recap poem explication that's due Friday the 7th. Inclass work on Chp9 of TFA.
Tuesday March 4th: Work on group work for Chapters 9&10 in TFA

Wednesday March 5th: In the writing lab, working on poem #1 explication.

Thursday March 6th: In the writing lab, working on poem #1 explication.

Friday March 7th: Poetry Explication #1 Rough Draft Due.

Friday March 14th: Poetry Explication #2 Rough Draft Due.

Monday March 17th: Vocab Unit 11 Quiz (flashcards due.)
